Crash - Lost multiple inscribed ultimatums

Connection became very unreliable, kept failing to connect to instance trying to enter trial of chaos after waypoint travel to chaos trial from black chambers. Multiple crashes to login screen. I lost 2 inscribed ultimatums and was unable to enter the trial of chaos. I am not able to test further as I have no more inscribed ultimatums at this time.

I wonder if this is because of issues being in the past vs. present via the ziggurat time travel gateway. I have had issues using waypoints to travel between past and present before.

No issues at all in my playthrough up until this happening just now. My game did just update also this afternoon 4th September so could also be related to this.
