Vaaling Rain Forest Beetle Ornate Strongbox Broken?

Is there any point to vaaling these? Every source I can find online says it should corrupt the items it drops. it does not. I have done a handful and haven't noticed any difference. I just tried to corrupt a Festival Rain Beetle unique strongbox in Qimah and the same thing happened.
I used a Vaal Orb on the beetle strongbox before triggering it. It showed as corrupted, but none of the items dropped by the beetle were corrupted. Perhaps this is because of the intermediate monster form? Bug Report ID: #3196619922 |
