Cannot use map device mtx bought from the PoE 2 ingame store?

I just purchased the Night Lotus Evertree Map Device from the PoE2 MTX store and cannot place it because the item now says "This microtransaction is not supported in this game version"?
Surely this has to be a bug right? Because the store page made no mention of this and why would I be able to purchase something on the poe 2 store that can only be used in poe 1? Hopefully I am just missing something or this is a bug? Last bumped on Sep 3, 2025, 11:01:25 PM
