Can't use the sacrificial heart from act 3 or drop it

I forgot to use the sacrifital heart during act 3 I progressed into act 4 and I can no longer go back to the alter to scrifice the heart i can't drop it either and its taking up space in my inventory

What do you mean you can´t go back?
- take the waypoint to act 3 into the ziggurat - take the gateway into the past - click the waypoint behind the gateyway - choose aggorat waypoint |
