Thrill of the Fight notable

Regarding the Thrill of the Fight notable, does the damage buff also apply to the attack that consumed the glory or only for the ones that come after? For example hammer of the gods, taking time to fall down. Also if the notable is on weapon set 2, does the damage buff which lasts for six seconds also apply to weapon set 1?
