My guess on The Hooded One....
# My guess on The Hooded One....
After playing through Acts 1–4, I’m convinced **the Beast and The Hooded One are either the same “problem” or tightly connected**—and that by the time we finish the full six-Act campaign, we’ll realize **The Hooded One isn’t what he pretends to be**. In **Act 1**, we learn the crisis kicks off when **Count Geonor** steals the **Seed of Corruption**—the remnant of the Beast—from the mysterious Hooded One. That theft basically sets the whole chase in motion. By the end of **Act 2**, the mask drops: **The Hooded One is Sin**, the same god who originally **created the Beast to put the other gods to sleep**. That ties him directly to the Seed we’re pursuing. **Acts 3–4** keep pushing the “follow the Seed” thread across Wraeclast’s power centers, and the lore consistently frames the Beast/Seed as **Sin’s tool**—a tool that saved mortals once, but also birthed corruption and endless opportunists. If Sin is riding alongside us as benefactor now, I can totally see a late-campaign turn where **his agenda with the Seed** diverges from ours and we end up on opposite sides. **TL;DR theory:** The Hooded One (Sin) isn’t our final friend. Once his plan for the Seed of Corruption comes due, he’ll stop being our ally—and the “Beast problem” will be back in a new form. Last bumped on Sep 2, 2025, 9:39:48 PM

In poe 1 we adventure on the atlas that looks to me like a portal to a fragments of reality...
In poe 2 it seems we will be failing at the last battle and try to rebuild a doomed world... That's a bit of point that poe1 is way ahead from poe2... |
