"Upgrade" 17 premium stash to Merchant and now i am screwed...plz help!

The wording of "Upgrade to a merchant's tab" on the website was very misleading. These new tabs do not offer the same customization options, and you cannot use them as normal storage space. These are not UPGRADE.

There was no mention of the significant trade-offs for these new stash besides the fact that they are not accessible from your Stash.

Really need help with reverting some of these back to premium stash tabs. (I have not gotten to act 4 so I have not started using them at all)

I'm afraid it is not possible to undo the conversion. As mentioned on the upgrade page, the process is permanent and cannot be undone. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Then would you guys look into improving the customization ability for these new tabs? Because they are not "UPGRADE".

Players were told these are upgrades....but they are missing alot of features compared to the primumm stash.
As mentioned on the upgrade page, Merchant Tabs are not regular Stash Tabs and are not accessed from your stash. You can also see how these tabs function in the preview video for the Merchant Tabs in the Path of Exile 2 microtransaction shop here. I hope this information is helpful!
What does it mean by not regular" stash tabs? Are customization of names and color something that belongs to the definition of "regular"?

I am sorry, but I cannot find the definition of regular stash across the entire GGG website. According to Google, this is the definition:

"In the Path of Exile games, a regular stash is the most basic form of storage for your items, weapons, and armor. Every player starts the game with four of these tabs, which are 12x12 grids that can store any non-quest item. "

"Default storage: You begin the game with four regular stash tabs for free, giving you a basic amount of storage.

Cannot be customized: Unlike Premium tabs, you cannot rename or recolor a regular tab.

No trading functionality: You cannot set items from a regular stash tab for sale directly on the public trade website. This feature is exclusive to Premium and specialized tabs.

Standard size: Each regular tab provides 144 inventory slots (a 12x12 grid).

Assign affinities: You can set "affinities" for a regular tab, which allows specific item types (like currency or gems) to be automatically deposited there when you use a hotkey (Ctrl + Left Click)."

In the video, it does not mention that you will no longer be able to customize the color / name of these tabs.

No one mentioned the trade-off besides not being "regular".

I'm in the same situation. I have converted all my premium tabs and now I can't use them for regular storage. I'm feeling so stupid by this mistake.

I really thought these new tabs would work like the premium ones i.e. you can store your items even if you don't use the new trade functionnality.

Yes, I should have take the time to read the description in the upgrade page, but right now I can't resolve myself to lose all my stash tabs. I hope they will propose a solution in the future...
Ya, the thing is there are NO WHERE across their entire site that explains what you will be missing once you have "made the upgrade"

There are no correct wordings anywhere to be found.

Really irresponsible of them to just type something out and expect everyone to understand what they meant. I mean these are stash tabs we paid a lot of money for.
