"Free weekend is over, buy the game"

I am a playstation player and I started playing the game during 0.3 free weekend, but i also played before 0.3 was released. When I log in to PoE2 it says free weekend and is over and to buy the game if I want to continue playing. Any help??

I'm not seeing an Early Access Pack purchase on your account. Is it possible that you made the purchase using a different Sony account than the one you have associated with your Path of Exile account?

Yeah but on playstation you can primary ones account and play the game, I was able to use this before, but ever since this free weekend, its been showing that i cant play.

If you had previously been relying upon game sharing and had not bought the game yourself, that was unintended and GGG recently discovered this and took steps to disable it.
GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

I had the same on PS5 after the free weekend. I was using my partner’s primary account to share, but after the update it flipped to “trial/please purchase.” What worked was buying the Early Access pack on my own PSN, then Restore Licenses (Settings > Users and Accounts > Other). Also set your console as primary for the buying account and double-check you’re on the same store region.
For topping up, I compared PSN card prices on cdkeyprices.com and grabbed a region‑matched code, then redeemed it on the PS Store. Saved a bit. Last edited by Rodrigonas01#2918 on Sep 22, 2025, 6:26:04 PM
