Clicking on the map device to access atlas is obnoxious now.

Looks like they got rid of the receptacle where you would place maps from poe1. So now you must click on the entire map device which is very inconsistent depending on the map device. Some map devices don't even work (for eg. one of the variations of Sacred Archives map device, the timekeeper map device). Since the portals don't disappear when you leave a map, that area is also cluttered.

After finishing a map, when I attempt to click on the map device to put the next map, I often click the portal which is quite frustrating. Can we please have the receptacle back or an accurate place to click on to open the atlas.

Yeah I noticed this to. I had the atzoatl map device set up perfectly so I could reach everything easily. Then they changed it and you have to run all the way to the top of it to put in a map. Now it is barely usable if you want to keep everything tidy.
