I don't understand the difficulty curve and design of this game
1. The difficulty of some big bosses, without a process, can be easily encountered in seconds, which makes them seem foolish
2. I often die for unknown reasons. The battle record only shows that you are dead, you are dead. It's very strange that there is no detailed record of why (skill) died. Clear battle records, such as how much damage was caused by a certain skill 3. Auction system, there are so many excellent designs of similar products, but they insist on making something difficult to use, challenging players' tolerance 4. 1. So you are saying it requires skill to fight the big bosses?
2. Build up your defense layers, play the game, figure it out 3. They explained before why some level of friction has to exist in trading as it's basically a win button and the most straight forward strategy. Besides that we got a async trading system this league 4. Maybe you should have waited to try it for free at launch |

" If you go to ladders page, you will see thousands of players already reaching more than level 90. If you go on social media, youtube, twitch, etc, there are hundreds of content providers showing guides and teaching people how to play the game. Many players want challenging and difficult game. Many players don't want free handouts, don't want easy shit, don't want to be softies, don't want to be wussies, don't want to be useless people and lazy people who don't even bother to put in effort to learn to play the game. 34pre98qua

One of the biggest issues for many new players is not fixing their elemental resistances. They think the 75% cap is the maximum they should ever reach. NO! 75% is the minimum you should have. The higher you go beyond that, the better. Monsters in the game can curse you and lower your resistances. For example, if you have 100% resistance and get hit with a −25% curse, your resist drops to 75%. There are also ways to increase your maximum resistances in the game.
Chaos resistance is also very important if you’re dying to those purple effects, if your health bar turns green and that’s what kills you, or if you’re playing an energy shield build. EHP (effective HP) is a huge problem. I’m trying to learn HC/SSF, and one of the first things I’m working on is fixing that. Yesterday I saw a post on Reddit: the player was talking about dying a lot. I checked their short video and saw that their life pool wasn’t even as high as my Act 4 character’s, yet they were running tier 5–6 maps. Another big issue is not paying attention to map mods. Mods that lower max resistances or give monsters elemental penetration shouldn’t be run unless absolutely necessary. If you’re playing an evasion build, and a map rolls mods that give monsters extra chance to hit plus crit chance and crit multiplier, then you’re in for a really tough time. as a noob these are the biggest problems I usually notice. about 3. "Auction system" Nope, the current system looks better. I don’t want to sit in a menu flipping items all the time. AH games are the worst, since flipping items is usually the most profitable thing to do. I love the merchant system. it’s better, and it doesn’t take away the soul of the game. I agree on the difficulty curve, especially some bosses. I died twice in acts 1-3 and probably more than 40 times in act 4. Half of that is lack of visual because of the minion build but the other is insta kills by bosses because I wasn't in the right spot. But I'm not really against that. That's easy to figure out.
What I am upset about is the latest in interludes, Crazed Azmeri boss. He has powerful ranged attacks, throws area attacks that spit out purple balls in every direction and not just one, he can throw up to 6 before the first one despawns. Add to that a small area where you fight and he as a stampede skill and it's a nightmare. I died 7 times to him so far and the only way to win is either be super skillful or lucky. As for trading, it's a quick and dirty fix before they implement the full thing into the game. I don't mind it as much now that we finally have offline trade. |
