Speak to Dannig for Expedition points, he won't appear.

I found Dannig in an early map and got the quest to speak to him but must have forgotten to do so in the map. Now I am in t12 maps and haven't seen him again in a map. He is in my hideout, but there's no option to speak to him for the quest. I only ever find Rog, Tujen and Gwennen in my maps and can't get the expedition atlas points. Does anyone know how to fix? Or am I just insanely unlucky, unable to find Dannig?

I don't think expedition rewards atlas points ever.
Not sure what quest you mean either. You need logbooks to play their missions.
