Key issue

I made a POE account and got a early access key from a friend and linked my xbox account to it so i can play it on there and it says on the account i have the early access but when i tried to play it on xbox it says i need to buy the early access to play the game. i unlinked my account on my microsoft to try to fix the problem but on my POE account it says my microsoft account is still connected.

It sounds like your friend gave you a key that grants you access on PC.
You would need to either play on PC or purchase the Xbox version of PoE 2. Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
