Game Pausing Randomly/Resetting Fog of War

Title. The game just radomly pauses for about 30-60 seconds and then resumes but the fog of war is reset. Already tried adjusting the sound but that didn't work.

I am having this exact issue as well. I'm having it happen on almost every zone I'm playing on.

I always enjoy exploring the entire zones before I move, so having this randomly happen whenever while exploring, is making it very annoying and just takes the fun out of it.

Please, this bug needs to be fixed.

I too am having a similar problem.

Happened to me in every zone of Act 4 — mostly during combat, sometimes in town, sometimes in a hideout. Fog of war resets, rest (mobs slain, items on the ground, checkpoints) stays.

Having the game fully restore your position and progress after prolonged absence and then suddenly decide to reset only the map discovery is a big letdown. Location layouts are crazy enough as is.
