Siren boss fight bug

I entered the Singing Caverns boss arena to fight the siren. I took a screenshot (to send to a friend), then threw a few fireballs. The boss dove into the water, and never came back up. I ran around the arena multiple times, and she never returned.

Exiting to character selection did not fix it.
Relaunching the POE2 client did not fix it.
I tried to join a party to teleport out and it said portals are disabled in a boss fight.
I can not use portals to get out.
I closed the client for a few minutes, and it's still bugged.

Currently leaving client closed for 10+ minutes to see if instance resets.

It does reset but you lose your map sadly.

It just happened to me, so frustrating. It should have a way to leave the boss arena even if it counted as a death (at least for standard).

Same just happened to me. How did you get out?

same bug here, respawning at last checkpoint "fixes it" by giving your chance that your next retry wont have that bug, also I suspect it happens when she dives to make that walls, if you run too far away from first wall jump she might detect that you are too far or smth, my suspicion

EDIT: yea, I managed to not recreate bug by keeping close to water walls when she jumps, which fortitudes my suspicions: bug happens, when you run too far away in wall creating phase
