Account Locked - unable to log into game

I was attempting to log into my laptop instead of my desktop. PoE prompted me to verify my account with an unlock code from my associated email address. I have yet to receive the code in my email. I then sent an email to support@grindinggear.com. I explained my situation, being unable to log in, and the support team recommended that I log in to receive a verification code in the chat by typing "/verify". This seems like a very broken process to me, and I'm wondering why accounts get locked if they are on a different IP address. It's madness; people are going to log in from other devices. It is not like I inputted the wrong password. Help, please. I love the game, having played it for many years, but this is atrocious and makes me not want to spend money on it anymore. The technical support has been a joke thus far.

I second that. I have dynamic IP, and even that i log from same PC, i always need to unlock or verify my account. Its pure nonsense.
