Vanishing shop items

I finally got home and was gonna check out the "what's new" tab to see what dropped from the chests and have noticed that the items I was looking at getting are now gone and after opening the shop sometime later saw the number drop again. Was it a mistake on the devs part for having the individual items show up on the store or is this some sort of backend issue? was really hoping to get ahold of a finisher and level up affect with some spare credit I had.

for context originally there was 70+ items in the shop and there is now 60 exactly. Iv watched the orb, diovan finishers, and level up effects vanish in real time.

I've also noticed there are pets I own, and are usable in PoE2 that are not listed in the in-game shop..... on the web shop I can buy them.
