Riverhold Endgame Map Boss Damage/Speed

Pretty much just the title. I'm just playing around in standard and I've fought several of the new content bosses with no problems, but I just tried to run a map called Riverhold where the boss was a Summon Reaper enemy (like the Sanctum floor 3 boss in PoE 1). That boss probably does 5-10x the damage over any other boss in normal end game maps and is just comically fast. There wasn't even an attack speed speed or damage mod on the map. Definitely needs a look, lol.

I completely agree. Boss is pretty busted.
The first rule about Riverhold is that we don't do Riverhold.

This is one of the map bosses that I have to die 2 or 3 times minimum before actually getting him down. He's really scary since hes too fast and does tons of damage often 1 shotting you. Definitely needs to get toned down, hes way overtuned for a map boss and that's without any bullshit mods on map.
Yep - I am STILL dying to this stupid boss... He begins the fight with an AOE that does a bunch of damage and follows it up with his dash/slash thing which is ALSO going to do a bunch of damage.
She just brrr here and there in the room and you dead in couple seconds

I dont know if its just shapeshifting since ive only played bear and wolf. When i dodge roll while meleeing a boss, i almost can never do it with any decent angle. i have to dodge roll perpendicular to where i want to go first.

This league it seems like im getting pushed around while trying to dodge roll more than i used to. It kind of feels like that crappy LE hitbox.

When this boss specifically starts the little flurry thing and i dodge roll i just dodge roll in place. Same thing is happening on arbitor.

Just got one-shotted by this one, not the 1st time.
76% elem res, 75% chaos, 76% armour, 2405 life 2849 ES, other damage reductions ... one-shot, Omen of resurgence didn't even trigger, one-shot.

Boss does lightning and chaos damage.

Chaos damage does double damage to energy shield.

Critical strikes also do double damage (maybe more, with extra crit bonus).

Lightning damage can shock you, so you take 20% increased damage.

With some damage mods on a map it's not hard to see how this boss can get rippy.

Her attacks are easily blockable if you have a shield, and also pretty easy to dodge unless you are standing point black when she starts her spin move.

I've found the spin move is really the only move that does damage, and that's if you eat most of the spin.

Dodging it feels very similar to trying to dodge the spin-slam of the act 3 apex of filth boss - if she starts spinning before you dodge, you can easily get pulled along for the ride and take tons of damage.

It looks like she is susceptible to cc (stun/freeze) and does not have that much armour compared to other bosses.

I am using a slow tanky furious slam bear that's hybrid armour/es with nearly maxed out chaos res and 25% armour to chaos dmg and seem to handle her just fine. She'll chunk off ~1k ES if I take a full spin-move to the face with 1 damage mod on the map.

Boss is fine. Check your chaos, lighting resist and armour.
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
