Acolyte Question regarding Volatility and power charge generation

Hey, I would like you ask you for a tip regarding the generation of Volatility on Acolyte. Except generation from inputing ailments, volatility on kill from passive tree and support allowing you to generate charges per crit what are yours tatctics? Kindly ask you what skills support and items do you use. I heard that some use catharis support?. Is is true that empowered or exerted attack generate volatility ( hidden mechanic?).

Secondly, what is the best/easiest way to generate power charges?Combat Frenzy + Resonance, Hand of chaluya with sockted frenzy mark or maybe using shock and siphoning strike?

Gathering Storm with perfect timing generates 20 to 100 volatility depending on how many enemies you're fighting, i had 200 stacks today (:

have to remember to stop using it when you want it to fade and actually step into effect, good to take the three nodes "less delay + volatility grants crit".

and in general, chayula has been a blast this season, glad i chose it over going invoker a second time, right choice!

Don't know any other class that can get +250 to 300%ish damage gained as chaos!

Siphoning strikes is good for when you want to use flicker strike after gathering storm, and resonance is not bad for power charges either, but if it's just about volatility, just that single G-S skill will change the game for you
