I don't understand acrossplay platforms

i dont understand how is across play chars is possible and have account and login on console and steam and play but stash key is not possible and must buy other key??

Allready write say is other platforms but if is other platforms how we can play this same chars is smell not good. And i interested now to buy supporter pack but have "other platforms" and have problem buy 10x this same for ps5 and steam is funny...
