elemental infusions need a complete overwork

so I play Sorceress, currently on 2nd act boss and I noticed you locked a huge chunk of power behind the infusions. But there are massive issues with it - cold and lightning infusions are rare, you can only spawn them once in 5-6 seconds so the payoff is not worth it on most spells - fire infusion which you get from living bomb is usable, if you kill inflicted, monster you can immediately pick it up and use again. BUT the infusion spawns where the monster dies. So if you battle a crowd of monsters you need to go in middle of them and if you fight boss, you need to walk pass him to get your infusion. But you play ranged character with pitiful HP pool and no defenses. Why are you forcing me to melee range? -so I am at the second act boss, you nerfed frost wall damage by 80% so how exactly am I supposed to kill it? No health regen, running out of both mana and life potion cos curses are so damn expensive and only last 6 seconds, 8 with extra duration. I am seasoned POE 2 player and I already died 5 times on the boss. Thats crazy. And each attempt takes forever despite me putting all the passive nodes into increased damage. -Stormweaver got massively nerfed. Now you only fire your conflux (or how you call it) on crit, which at this point is 7-11% on my spells, so worthless for leveling and the pickup range for infusions is laughable, it needs AT LEAST 500% increase, not 30% which is still basically on top of the infusion -sprinting - while I am fine with the mechanic, why do you stop running when you run into some hole in a terrain, or you touch a pillar or something? whats the point? In some maps you can sprint for like 3 seconds before you are forced to stop even if the map is cleared. -optimization for act 1 is significantly better than for act 2 and a big improvement compared to previous league. Part of it is you re enabling NVIDIA Reflex, but good job in this department - loading new instances takes forever 20+ seconds, even longer than previous leagues. On the other hand re-loading them is now almost instant (like walking to new instance, then going back to previous one) except for going to town, thats the longest loading time. Can we get an option to not load any other player in town instances? thats probably causing the issue - no disconnects so far. You need to get more ailment magnitude. I shock almost every single time I cast arc. Then, I snap and gain a bunch of infusions

" I don't even pay attention to infusions. Ice Walls > Frost Bombs > Orb of Storms > Frost Darts for single target (You can drop some Frost Novas to build up freeze in between). For groups Frost Bomb > Orb of Storms > Frost Nova > Snap. I've been sailing through the campaign with these two rotations and my defenses are a mess since I am going to be going for Evasion/ES + CI. |
