fps doesnt change after changing the resolution
720p and 1080p has the same fps. how is this possible? could anybody explain what I'm missing? I just want to get 60fps nothing more. I lowered everything but fps still the same around ~40. Some intense battles even drops to 20-30. I'm close to give up because of this, otherwise I like the game. Also, I've got latest nvidia drivers.

Get GPU-Z or similar programm and check that your GPU uses all the bandwidth it suppose to.
For example - Bus interface PCIe x16 4.0 @ x16 Last number should be x16 (under the load not idle) |

Try to disable Nvidia Reflex, they "released" it with last patch, it broke everyone's game and froze computers then they "disabled" it via "hotfix".
With mine enabled - the game stutters like the shit it is, without it - somewhat playable. |

Most likely you were already playing on 720p with upscaling (dynamic resolution), or like someone else said you were bottlenecked by your CPU.
(your CPU will always give you same FPS on any resolution) Last edited by krytyk411#0717 on Aug 31, 2025, 10:42:15 AM

I mean, there is something wrong with the optimization or a memory leak. When I first enter the game, it's fine. However, after playing for 30 minutes or an hour and traveling back and forth between town and the map, the game's FPS drops to 20-30. If I restart the game and continue on the map with an intense battle, it's fine. You can see the strangeness on this two ss.
after 30min play ss : ![]() after restart ss: ![]() I already tried with nvidia reflex off, but I'll try again. I maybe missed the fix trying other things. Last edited by gldio#7987 on Aug 31, 2025, 11:21:33 AM

" that means the game is CPU bound or memory bound, not GPU bound on your machine. |

I also tried disabling nvidia reflex and foreground & background cap. but, after 40 minutes of gameplay it started dropping to 30 FPS in town. By the way, isn’t it strange that a 20ms cpu time shouldn’t result in 50 FPS? I don’t know how to fix this. If I occasionally restart the game every 30 minutes or so, I can keep playing. Maybe, I should take a break instead.
