Inactive Guild Leader Transfer

Hello,
The leader of our guild PoE2 has unfortunately passed away. I wanted to see if it is possible to have the guild leader position passed to someone else. We have a lot of friends together in the guild and would like to keep it in our friends memory but he is currently set as guild leader and I couldn't find anything about how to switch the leader if we can't access his account. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
