Linking Accounts and Deleting Accounts

Hello,

I've switched platforms to PC, I have an account linked to my Playstation account, which is where I started my POE journey. There really isn't much associated with either in terms of the website account other than confirmation that I did contribute to the company by helping support the game financially. I made a Steam account then realized I already had the Playstation account created. Should I delete the Steam account I recently created and link the Steam account to the previous Playstation account?
