Less damage to enemies after patch

I am currently in act 3. I played an area last night and had no issues clearing the area and almost beating the Viper 1rst try. After the patch now it seems like i am doing a lot less damage than i was doing tonight even though the patch notes say that the skills im using have been buffed. Example freezing salvo as of last night would take out regular enemies instantly. Now it barely knocks any life off. Also when i got to the boss fight all my skills were nearly uselesss and did no damage at all. I am using Ranger with lightning arrow, lightning rod, freezing salvo, flame wall, and herald of thunder. Not only does my character not do as much damage as previous, I am getting one shotted by normal enemies in the area. Any suggestions why i am experiencing this issue. I cant even play the game anymore with this character because he has become so weak since the patch.

I am hearing this complaint frequently on the forums, in chats, and among my friends. The difficulty settings are way out of whack. Whatever free weekend players bothered to try out this game are probably long gone, confirming what they'd previously heard, that this game is not for them.
