Question regarding getting a second PoE2 key

I will be honest with you all, I bought a key from a third party site(I know that was bad) some time ago and after a week it was revoked, turned off, my account lost access to the beta. If my friend gift me a key I activate it via website will I be able to play through Steam again? I have access to the client already.

If you regain access, you would once again be able to play early access. All of your existing progress will still be available to you provided you play using the same Path of Exile account!
