Enabling Smooth Motion is kinda good
I have a 5070Ti and I don't like it when the game drops its FPS to 110-130fps during high octane moment in Maps, especially when there's a party member that destroys fps. Lowest I got probably 80fps with a party member.
I already know that the game only uses a single thread for most of its calculation, I've been monitoring it a lot and it does shoots up a single thread to 90%+ during heavy encounters. Now upon enabling Smooth Motion in the NVIDIA App this really alleviated those CPU bound moments, and now I can have a much better frametime during high mob count moments and heavy fx moments. I even crank the GI Shadow to Ultra, really love the higher resolution screen space shadow. I'm running in a 1440p DLSS-Q 7800X3D Last bumped on Aug 29, 2025, 4:26:15 AM
