Maven witnessing Cortex, died but completed, no credit/drops.

Died at the exact same time as the last synthete (DoT vs AoE). Had no credit for the maven witness, no drops from the boss, no portal appeared to be able to leave the room. Got dialogue from Venarius, but nothing from Maven when the last boss died.

it's not a bug, it's how the game works. This will happen on any boss with a delayed death animation. You need to lie dead and wait for the death animation end and loot drop to get completion.
