Stash issues (remove-only)
Just logged in and all my neetly sorted stash tabs (folders) are like gone. it's all unsorted and all over the place with "(remove-only)"!?
I only play on PC, so this can't be a console vs pc incompatibility issue. Please tell me it's all going back to what it was before!? ![]() Last bumped on Aug 27, 2025, 2:06:09 PM

If you are missing any stashes after a migration, please ensure that 'Hide Remove-only Tabs' is unchecked in the options button at the top of your stash window and that any missing 'Remove-only' stash tabs are not inside any folders you may have.
If you are still missing stashes or progress, can you please check if you have the option to manually migrate your missing content over using the 'League Migrations' button on the character selection screen? If you are still encountering any issues with this or have any other questions, please email us at support@grindinggear.com so we can look into this matter for you. | |
" When Dawn of the Hunt ended, your DotH stash tabs were copied across to your Standard stash. To avoid giving you a bunch of extra stash tabs for free several times a year, GGG marks these duplicated tabs as "Remove Only", and they will be deleted after the final item is removed from them. The non-Remove Only tabs are the stash tabs you already had in Standard - one copy of each tab you should have. The Remove Only tabs are any that needed to be created to avoid deleting your items earned in DotH. This will happen every time you play in a temporary league. " Sorry but im very new to this, i've not played PoE1. Only Diablo 4 so I have no idea how stash migration works in PoE. From what I can see i'm not missing any tabs or items. However all my folders are gone and i'm seeing duplicate stash tabs, for instance; essence, rituals, delirium etc. What should I do in order to "migrate" all my items to standard league from Dawn of the Hunt or whatever? Can you also tell me what "remove only" means? Also isn't the stash migration something that should happen when the new league drops and not days before? EDIT; just saw the patchnotes, didn't realise the league ended just now lol Last edited by Zoddo#7578 on Aug 27, 2025, 1:40:08 PM

" That has already happened. " As per my previous post, because they are 'extra' stash tabs that haven't been paid for, it is impossible to place items inside them - indeed, even if you just click on an item inside one, it will be impossible to drop that item back into the tab. They only exist to allow your items to be recovered; once the last item is removed, the tab will be deleted the next time you log in. " Your items will be migrated when a challenge league ends, which is typically just under a week prior to the next one beginning. This is for a variety of reasons - not least among them, the sheer amount of server-side work necessitated by both. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support. " aaah i get it! So i just have to remove the items from "remove-only" and transfer those to the normal tabs, remove-only is just temporary? i guess all my folders are gone because the standard league before the migration had an entirely different stash "layout"? |

Remove-only stash tabs aren't time-limited; there's no need to hurry to remove items from them.
If you arrange your Standard stash tab once (e.g. folders, etc.), then that'll be rememebered - but if you only do that in a temporary league then, as you've seen, that'll go "poof" once that league ends. Also in PoE 1 your challenge league stashes copy the Standard league stash upon league creation - I assume PoE 2 is the same in that regard, but I can't say for sure.
