No patch notes before launch is a good thing.
I just feel like not having the patch notes before launch is good for the game. Almost every creator you listen to or player you talk to have a different idea of what may be good. It's interesting to see that so many people will be going in with different builds, rather than just a single focus. I understand people want to have a plan for launch, but for me it's a better feeling going in blind.
In my opinion we should never get the patch notes before league launches in the future. I understand for creators it can be good, as they want to have guides out. Personally though I feel as though not having them adds excitement to the league launch, which is rare to see anymore and only benefits the game overall for some discovery to take place. I know this will never happen, but for me it's been a lot better leading up to the launch. Have a fun one and good luck! I prefer to have one so I have an idea if I shoukd waste my time even more or not.
Let's use D4 for example. If there were no patch notes, I would been wartime my time with S7 and S8. |

Even if there's no patch notes, there's still going to be datamining of the pre-load.
That means that streamers and sweaty nerds in their mom's basement will have more knowledge than the general populace. Releasing the patch notes evens the playing field. |

Better to watch some ideas before the release and then don't waste the time and play.

I see a solution. Don't read the notes and listen to d4bad radio on youtube, instead.
