Reddit Admins for Poe1/2 sub-reddits are out of control

Honestly, this is getting more and more insane by the day, I dont know if I am the only one on the receiving end here, but it feels like the admins of those sub-reddits are just drunk with power and give out permanent bans left and right in defence of "even though we understand critism we find that flaming starts a war and doesnt help anything" and justify everything under that clause.

Honestly, like it or not, reddit is huge part for many people and their journey into the game, it feels extremely shit when you are handed a permanent ban for pointing out that someone's post made no sense and calling them "high out of their mind while making their post".

In my head, this reddit represents GGG and their game, it would be nice to not have some overly sensitive kid as an admin decide if you will be permanently banned or not from a key source to the game.

Almost every subreddit there has questionable moderation. Nothing knew you can´t just take them seriously.

It's only in your head though. GGG has no influence over the mods on reddit so complaining about it here is barking up the wrong tree.

I think you got it backwards... I am aware that GGG is not involved with the reddit, thats the concern and issue. Reddit represents the game in a way and thats the where their behaviour is very troubling, because it can impact the experience that someone has with Path of Exile.

Its entirely not the wrong tree, same way that after 12 years we are finally getting trade solved, this is another potential issue that will need to be addressed at some point.
I mean i get your point but there isn't anything to be done about it. GGG has no say in regards to the subreddits and even if they wanted to, they can't just go and take control of them just because they have POE as their topic.

Only thing they could potentially do would be to create an "official" Poe subreddit which is governed by GGG but there is no point in doing that since this forum here already exists as the official POE address. There is also no guarantee that the new subreddit would become the main one either, chances are it would end up being forgotten in no time.

If you don't like the subreddits stay away from them, that's all there is to it. Trade taking 12 years to be fixed was GGGs design narrative blocking it, the main thing required there as a change of mind on GGGs side.
The reddit issue is simply out of their hands. Besides, the moderation in this forum isn't exactly something to write home about either so i am not sure if GGG taking over the subreddit would actually improve matters.
You could always make your own POE subreddit and moderate it yourself.
Thanks for all the fish!
hoho a key source? POE reddit has never been a key source of anything but drivel lets be honest.

Stay away from those places same with TFT discord they have no ties with GGG either.

Are you concerned that someone might form a too positive opinion of PoE 2 if they scroll the reddit?
