Okay. 1st 10 cent and now Krafton the publisher that fired the OG Subnautica founders because Krafton where too greedy and would not pay them the EA bonus.
In theory this new partnership could make new content happen faster but even with 10cent the dev pace was glacially slow. Not sure any amount of money + support could change the LE project unless they hire new devs / replace old ones. But even then it's a stretch. Lets see how this goes and track the next year. RIP, LE. You were a really promising beginner-friendly ARPG. Unlike PoE, I just dived into LE blindly and progressed to endgame without any external help.
At least the offline client still exists if the conglomerate decides to enshittify the game and add P2W elements to it. |
