Ima rant about mods.

They're not challenging. They're just frustrating. it puts you in a situation where you're going to die no matter what. The last time I quit PoE for a while was because my wrist couldn’t take all the constant item-clicking and inventory micromanagement, and that got fixed (if you pay for it, they also made a lot of currency stack since then and get auto looted) ..... Now it’s the mods, and im hoping that gets looked at too. They're not fun, they're not engaging, they're just annoyingly punishing. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but solving problems as a game developer isn’t just about solving the problem for you. Yes, players are dying more, but that doesn’t mean they’re having more fun. In my case, it’s making me want to stop playing altogether. i kinda feel like "visual clarity" isn't going well. I'm looking at you corpse explosion, I SEE YOU NOW, and thats all i see and hear when it goes off. PPPSHSPHSPHSPHSPHSPHSPHSPHSPHS , rings everywhere. "where is my mouse" and im playing a minion build so i hardly know whats going on "play blahblahb" NO, I WANT TO BE LIKE ARTHAS AND HAVE A UNDEAD MINION ARMY.

I’ve said my piece. Some jank is fine. But when all my deaths feel like they come from jank, I’m out.

on a final note: I really don’t like how changes from PoE2 are trickling into PoE1. Memory maps being treated like PoE2 maps? Hate it. If you want to make it one-and-done, just delete the map, don’t “curse” it so we waste time. That’s just punishing for the sake of it. I'm already wasting time playing a video game, don't punish me by wasting more of it. this is what people mean when they say "respect the players" im already wasting time micro managing my inventory STILL. you can't give us an autosort? we'll pay you, its ridiculous that its still not a thing in PoE. i hate playing path of management. i really do. Even scrabble has an autosort T__T SCRABBLE.

I blasted pretty hard for a month. i would consider it a pretty good league but i just wanted to air my complaints. I've seen Empyriangaming videos(especially that blight one), i can guess why players need to die. I still don't like it though. I already hated the poison balls that follow you, the exploding ball that follows you...mavines balls that follow you, and explode... ya'll what is it with the balls?!

As a summoner main, the clutter from minions adds more to things being buried and difficult to read enemies. At a point, if you don't build heavy into tank and hope your block is good enough, you leave yourself to getting randomly 1shot by things you just simply cannot see.

This is true. My necro has 11 zombies, 12 skeletons, 4 Bone Golems, 11 Phantasms 7 specters, 4 Icy Skull minions and an Animate Guardian. God help my poor computer when I push Vaal Summon Skeletons and conjure 44 more.

I can see pretty much nothing of my character once the power, endurance and frenzy charges kick in. I die sometimes. From... something?

Best workaround I could manage was a couple of medium cluster jewels with Hulking Corpses and Bodyguards. (Which helped a ton - I don't have any sockets to spare with damage mitigation configs) and dual wands leaves some... defensive holes.

While it does stink to die to... uh... things? Something? I kinda understand that I brought it on myself to a degree. (Hehehehe minion cloud!!!!!!!!).

I don't know if there is really a "fix" - PoE's visual clarity is rough even when you're by yourself just because of how crazy the spell effects get. Once you start talking about tracking things in a horde of 92 minions + enemies + charges it's just game over. Not sure if you can "fix it" without doing away with the whole minion horde concept.

Speaking personally, I'd rather die every couple of maps that loose my swarm... god that's fun to just surround yourself with a massive legion of pets. (Oak, you noisy bastard).

I'm also on standard, so I have access to some jewels and gear that.. could be coloring my perception of things. I'll cop to that.

are you using a uber strict filter with only max base percentile t1 bases + high quality t1 bases showing? i don't have a problem looting trash if there's no trash to loot, as for the mods being hard. i pulled your pob, and your char INSANELY squishy, i don't play summoners but i imagine you want to be tankier than what your pob says. you're also missing quality on your basalt flask... among other things
