Kingsmarch and new player experience
My main thought about the Kingsmarch experience is that it would actually be better if its stage-by-stage construction was still a thing.
A player clears the acts and enters the epilogue. They are invited to Kingmarch and presented with its tasks, which include the straight out of the blue tens of thousands of units port quotas. Given how seldom you encounter ores with an unspecced atlas tree, it is going to take a long, long, loong time to fulfill any of them with bars, and even fulfilling them with grains makes for bad new player experience. We build up Delve and Heist from scratch on a fresh league too. Why not Kingsmarch? Last bumped on Jul 15, 2025, 3:06:50 PM

Because you are not engaged. You need to actually complete Delves and Heists, here all you need to do is click on resources and sometimes not even that. So yes, you either go for the tree nodes or just use it sporadically.

I also have mixed feelings. I think all of this needs to go through a few iterations before it makes sense.

Dont like what they did with Kingsmarch either. They even kept the worst part of it - Worker management micro. Workers should have been purged and replaced with "invest in more workers for gold" and "invest in more worker efficiency for gold" buttons on the individual stations. I dont see anything positive about making it clunky without strategic benefit which is what the worker micro does different from the simple buttons.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

I have to agree that the port quotas are quite extreme when you first arrive at Kingsmarch. I think that should change and go back to building up as you progress through maps.
