Mastodon tusks didnt spawn.

Im currently stuck on the main story quest "A Theft of Ivory" in Act 2. I defeated both bosses, "Ekbab,Ancient Steed" and "Iktab ,The Deathlord",multible times,but the quest item "Mastodon Tusks" never dropped- even after reloading the zone and restarting the game.
-Quest: A Theft of Ivory (Act 2-Bone Pits) -Bosses defeated: Ekbab and Iktab -Bug: Mastodon Tusks did not drop -Attempts: Reloaded area, redid boss fight several times, game restarted -Platform: Pc (steam) -Character name: EMEREALD -Bug report: 2.749.637.885. Could you please: 1. manually grant the quest item so I can proceed? 2.Or fix the spawn/drop issue in my current instance? Thank you for your assistance! Reset the instance and try killing them in reverse order (mastodon first, then necromancer).

Happened to me too recently. I got it on my second try even tho I didn't reverse the order.
