Xsolla requires gmail, yahoo, or hotmail for payments

I've already linked this in my email discussion with customer support but I figured I'd post it in the feedback forums as well.

TL;DR Feedback: GGG should have a method of payment that doesn't use Xsolla.

Tried to buy another supporter pack. Got an unspecified payment failed error on credit cards & an error 1092 on paypal-via-xsolla. This is a "declined for security reasons" error & customer support had me contact Xsolla. Xsolla responded:

I don't have a gmail, yahoo, or hotmail account & wouldn't swap my pathofexile account over to them even if I did. I have a company email & an ISP email with the 3rd largest provider in Australia, but neither are acceptable to Xsolla.

As you can see from the forum icons, I've bought several packs in the past - significantly more than enough that I got free poe2 early access. I don't mind spending cash on GGG if I'm enjoying a league.

Having a payment provider that requires gmail, yahoo, or hotmail accounts seems like a terrible idea for GGG's ongoing profit margins.

Xsolla's failure to clearly explain why payments are refused on the checkout page is also an issue.

Many people would have email accounts with those three providers & may be prepared to swap their account email, but aren't aware Xsolla requires them to.

Swapping to steam client would presumably be a work around, but comes with its own trade offs.

It it an Aus thing? I don't have a gmail, hotmail or yahoo account and just bought a PoE II supporter pack a few days ago?

Curious why you're having problems.
From some other comments I saw it could be a non-American thing?

Because I was seeing a UK user reporting having a nearly identical experience to mine.
