13 years of mechanics causing bloat
Too many things to learn in this game it is overwhelming, I quit when I got to t-16 maps when bosses can just one shot the player, I cannot clearly see what the boss is doing to one shot me since my screen is filled with skill/spell effects. I gave up trying to learn boss movesets I can't see while trying to digest 13 years of league mechanics and learning what currency and items are worth any value.
Before anyone responds and says I am doing it all wrong, I am not someone who started playing this game when it was more simplified and had less mechanics, items and crafting materials which would be easier to digest. All of this leads to power creep and the expectation that the player should have years of knowledge because they have to balance around that namely the top 5% of players and builds leading to boss mechanics where they cannot be one shot and have multiple invincibility phases where the player must play dodge or die before they can damage the boss again all while avoiding one shot mechanics you might not be able to see depending on your build.
