Difference of Critical Hit Chance between Amazon and Invoker

I have both Invoker(lvl 92) and Pathfinder(lvl 98), playing same Lightning Arrow / Lightning Rod with same shared weapons and equipments.

I've stacked 100% Critical Hit Chance on the panel for Lightning Rod, and DMG goes to around 400k fightning pinnacle boss.

Yet, I still have to spend like 8 seconds to beat Xesht.

Compare to my friend's Amazon Light Arrow/Rod, only like 2 seconds, but his panel is just 300k.

I think his efficiency is correct:
1 Rod=300K, 20 Rods=6m, since Xesht has 32m life, and Lightning Arrow has 5 arrows( also with Barage ), 6*5=30, so finish him in 2 seconds is correct.

And with Invoker, I think even the panel is 100%, but each time Lightning Rod re-roll and ignoring the Crit Chance stacking.

Right? Bug?

Ingame dps numbers are absolutly useless for determining your overal combat damage. There could be 1000 + 1 resons why your damage differ. Very simle example could be elemental infusion (amazon skill). If you are looking at numbers outtside combat, without having infusion active, you wont see it on dps number. Buffs, effects, dots, procs... are not simulated/included in the tooltip number.

And when it comes to crit on amazon, dont forget it comes from accuracy. Ranged attacks has decreased accuracy at distance so you might have 120% at point blank and 80% at 8 meters distance, which changes damage alot and game probably shows some average value. Enemy evasion rating also mess up crit for amazon. And this avcuracy stacking also gives amazon like 100% hit chance even against pinacles, which might not be true for invoker.

You don't get my point.

It's the "pinpoint" supoport gem, when I socketed it in Lightning Rod, the panel shows 100% crit, I'm not talking about the dps. The Rod would not calculate 100% when it's been fired into the ground. That's a bug.

You are turning it into the mess.

You have never mentioned its about pinpoint support. And if its about pinpoint, most of your OP is irrelevant.

How do you know that pinpoint is bugged? How do you know you dont have 100% crit?
Yes you are right, it's a mess or a guessing game.

Right now almost every other things are same or better ( my invoker vs my friend's amazon), and yes maybe my rod has 100% crit all the time.

So the Amazon's asendecy is the only different, or , maybe the Rod mechanic, who knows?

When fighting Xesht, we have same standing position which is very near aside Xesht, so there is no accuracy penalty, beside Invoker has a crit ignore element resistant asdcy, might be better? But it is just slower than Amazon.

Any idea?

forget to mention, I've noticed that sometime when my Invoker or Pathfinder fightning Xesht, the first hit could damage a lot in case I put ineviteable critical in my Rod, Pathfinder is better because she has some passive point for crit against shock or exposure enemy. And this sudden big damage happens when 4 seconds later which I suppose the inevitable crit works again?

That's why I thopught pinpoint is not working on Rod.

Cant you simply post links to both characters? Could be much easier to identify which buffs makes amazon stronger. My guess is elemental infusion which is not visible out of combat. Or if you are using trinity, elemental balance is very important.
