League has been out almost a month and daily totals are 60k, about half of league start. Thats pretty good.
I credit it more toward there being no new content for a year or so than anyone loving Mercs, but far from dead league. |

" Personaly atleast i really like the D2 2.0 mercs, having great fun testing out strange combos of items and looking for a inf Bison ^^ But for sure, it feels pritty safe to say that many are sticking around after wanting new poe 1 stuff and poe 2 atm isnt for all :) Cant have to much Junk in your Stash

Mercs are pretty great. Another body to gear and customize that contributes on battlefield is great. You can mix more stuff for new outcomes - that makes the game deeper. With some creative thinking merc can do what your character struggles with and vice versa, this allows us to plug some holes in our builds without making new ones. On this GGG did very well and I hope they go core (without making them ass).
Other than that its the same POE. Which is... okay? Expecting patches a month in - I wouldn't. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

Yeah, the league is basically: Hire a merc and fight three new easy bosses.
Personally I don't like it. People are talking about numbers and shit like that, we need to evaluate that 50% + of those players are new to the game because they came from POE 2. So... the real player base that do stuff for the market, are quitting. |

It's good actually. League is overall stable, let them focus on next leagues.
