Quill Burst crashing the game

I came back to play after a break and the build I came up with is still crashing the game :(

I spent ages levelling an alt to try it out, and I feel like it'd be doing crazy damage if the bug was fixed. I'd love it dearly if it could get a look at.

Reproduction:
- any class, skill tree doesn't matter
- take some hits to retaliate with thorns
- cast Shield Wall with Quill Burst support gem (creates a semicircle of stone)
- cast Resonating Shield to destroy the Shield Wall

I suspect each section of wall is bursting with the quills which hits each other wall segment, causing some kind of infinite loop/cascade which crashes the game :(
