The financial model for PoE is outdated. (it shows)
Try this out: create an in-game technical support ticket, then send an email to technical support.
You’ll get a reply stating there aren’t enough resources to fix your issue and that you should visit forum links for community help, I guess? I happily leveled two toons past 90 in PoE2, and I bought a support pack simply because I was having a blast playing the game. For about 2 weeks, though, I experienced so much lag it made me want to quit. The reasons were obvious—when you’re doing hard content, you can lose a map or die because of server lag. I have an issue with that. Server performance has nothing to do with the game being in early access. People all over the forums disagree with my thread title because they say, “Oh, they made big profits.” So what? That doesn’t matter when it comes to server or technical issues—the two most important parts of making the game playable. The model is; either you pay or play for free regardless. I never saw y'all moan when y'all bought Diablo 4 for $70+ I want the game to be supported for years to come, but the quality is poor. Last bumped on Jul 8, 2025, 7:40:38 PM

You‘re implying the servers would be better with a different financial model? That doesn‘t make any sense mate

" No, visit the technical issues sub forum and see how they didn't re-solve anything. It's about more having more resources and improving the quality of both games. |

Technical support has not been given for many many years, and that is highly unlikely to change in the future. It is not a financial issue. The answer given is always to post on the forum, so other users can assist when possible.
GGG might not respond on the forum to many things, but posts do get read. 😹😹😹😹😹
I do not and will not use TFT. Gaming Granny :D 🐢🐢🐢🪲🪲🪲 @xjjanie.bsky.social |

Nearly every "major" company has terrible tech support or even NO support at all. They don't spend any of their resources on it because "Just Google It" is actually pretty darn good advice nowadays.
Why should game companies be any different? They have millions of players on forums all across the web willing to do the job for free. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Jul 8, 2025, 7:41:23 PM
