at this point just delete poe 1 and focus on 2.
first of all going from loot explosions and have fun to going to hey lets gather 100 000 scarabs ...and maybe 1 divine per map if lucky...is a bad choice. feels like a chore and not like YES I GOT 30 DIVINES YEAH YEAH YEAH. now hinekoras lock is the only thing reaching those hights. and once in your lifetime a forbidden flame jewel. the servers always were bad so blaming it on switching provider...is quite the stretch no? sure it was never that bad but there was not a single league start where the servers were not plagued by rubberband crashes or dc...especially in the towns everyone has to go to. and also 2 weeks after league start spells are shown AFTER you die. bosses scream abilites AFTER they kill you etc etc.... oh and then you definitely forgot to nerf loot from hoards. right? what a coincidence you removed ascendancy to open those -> so only casters can do it. where are the promised mid league buffs? like adding open chests to other masteries? no who cares when just 2 classes can do the farm that gives double what other strats do right? -.- cause its so fun running trough a map and clicking hoards one by one... NO ITS NOT. but doing breach and get half loot or boxes that just dont drop anymore for 20 t17?? yeah sure..... sushy also did it like this click one by one what other choice do we have???? cause rest is underwhelming and unrewarding in comparsion. DESPITE mercs are supposed to give us more loot. that and economy is catering to the ones that can open chests with mastery! then unrewarding mechanics over and over. wisps make map take longer and harder does it give more loot? no of course not. many such examples. beyond after nerfs is also quite useless. deli? jung does not use it any longer cause he even said it drops less. whic is debatable but yes the 10 quant are not really felt any longer. also its like the only reason to cap chaos resist. you left things that make maps harder but removed rewards they used to give. altars also seem to have 0 impact on loot now. then those memory tears that sometimes spawn on first map and sometimes after 50 or 100...yeah sure worth 5 points in the atlas. oh wait. not rly. at the same time rmt makes all items 50x more expensive to absurd prices. maybe make mirrors a fixed price at faustus so YOU decide how long people have to farm for it and NOT the rmt ppl who own 90% of mirrors. because DIV/H stays the same while trade bots make mirrors more and more expensive. if the amount of time you have to invest to farm them exceeds the amount of time casuals have they get basically coerced into rmt IF they want a mirror weapon. btw has nothing to do with inflation. and that one is also mainly done by bots. if we guess 20k bots with 10d h they farm 5mil divines per day. spaghetti code where you can't even add new models????? yeah we can let that slide its an old game after all. bad balance. always overnerf things only leaving 3 4 meta builds. never buff skills that are not played since 10 leagues. like how many transfigured gems did you add? how many of those are viable? 5% or even less? if something by accident actually is rewarding you remove it. but that mercs don't rejoin maps if you pay the gold in the map even if you go to hideout and switch the merc afterwards... they refuse to join the map again...that one you do not fix. if you pay them in hideout they rejoin the map. people did not even realize you could roll memory maps to 8 mod and corrupt to 10 -.- so nerfing them was fine since it was a bug and not intended. and all those sorry just toxic abilities? like who thought giving headhunter a blink? especially since t17!!! this just has to be removed from the mod pool. do you know how many abilites just insta kill you when it BLINKS IN????????? did you EVER play HH last 2 years since t17? there are those water jelly fishes. -> blink dead. the water pillars. ->blink dead. the sawing blades (that for some reason can spawn twice on one screen at the same time)... the lightning on ground. exploding strongboxes. not to mention tentacle fiends or shaper beams it just loves to blink into them. like wtf. why ruin a good chase item like this? yes you can unequip it but then you loose all auras and have to recast them so not viable in combat. its mainly since t17 so maybe remove the blink or you think to die like this is FUN? or remove those bad abilities. no one is gonna miss them. most of them kill you after enemy is dead anyway. the lightning and waterpillars would be fine since they have fixed distance and u can just blink over if its ready.but then HH just blinks you back in YAY then the bugged abysses...i dont know you hotfixed them to not give xp loot but that was in affliction did we fix the bug since then? no of course not. another thing you would remove if you played the game is 100% increased area of effect. that also applies to bosses. and also applies to exploding strongboxes so even with haste blink and blink arrow they hit you 2 screens away if there is no wall to hide. and its especially bad on all deli mods that also hit like full screens or 2. or the t17 bosses with those small arenas. no problem to fill them with a 1 hit spell then. so fun! whats with those bosses anyway? sanctuary boss just kills you and then screams you will know pain. how about you make her use the audio clue BEFORE she uses the ability???? like 1 second before so people have time to react? with bad servers maybe even 2 seconds before-.- the boss in fortress how about you stop the lasers while he spins so you can walk along? quinn also died to it when he randomly without warning or clue just changes direction. abomination bosses...yeah lets not even go there small arena full of deadly effects no space or time to stand to do dmg. one of them even blinks next to you to use his blood aoe on full screen that obviously 1 shots. catharina fight? probably the best of them but small arena and if you die while she does skeletons RIP. all those just scream rmt or farm 18/24 to kill them before they use any abiltiy ... or just dont try. do you even realize most ppl skip the bosses? cause they are just to toxic? especially with risk scarabs you do not even have to try. who thought risks scarabs are a good idea anyway? you make all those toxic map mods that force us to do stuff like using regex and roll one stupid map for a 100 times...or 50... just to then randomly add 8 mods????? WHY????? and its not a skil issue if you get 0 clues. take sirus for example he screams die then you know laser beam incoming. there the timing is good! well done boss. same for maven clear clues u know and can learn what comes and dodge it. very well made boss. also with the phases that stops outgear to skip. t17 bosses are just bad designed. can happen but you never touch them again to improve the experience. definitely my last poe1 league. until improvements are made. just make it fun again make it rewarding again. it does not matter if we find 10 div or 100 div per hour trade bots will take that value and make prices 100x what we find per hour anyway. so at least let us have fun by finding stuff. and by stuff i dont mean gather and sell 1000 0000000 stupid scarabs for 1c ok? btw most of them are so useless you could just remove them again. Well it's opinion, and I do understand in same points. FX farming Apothecary took me about 600t minion kills now I'm on 1,5m and nothing. But I really still prefer PoE1. Actually I don't even plan to start 2nd big patch on PoE2 ... But we will see :). I understand you are now angry, PoE1 needs update like salt, but I wouldn't be so harsh. ![]() POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.

There's also the fact that like....almost everything being complained about in the OP is self-inflicted harm. And the other half? Parroting from his favorite streamers with no actual evidence or engagement (because what he says is actually wrong, if he took the time to engage with some of the things himself).
HH: no one forces you to use the belt Map mods: no one forces you to run those particular mods Bosses: no one forces you to engage with those bosses / learn how to deal with them maybe? Abyss Hoards: EVERYONE has access to caster mastery lol. you want to do that strategy? Give up a few passive points and get the mastery.
