Need help with Occultist Eye of winter build and map progression

So currently I`m more or less stuck on start of Red tier map.

I definitly lack DPS and survivability (and a big chunk of git gud skill also).

The problem is I don't really know how to fix my thing. I haven't checked a build for my char as most of them are either Brand/recall or mine/trap and I wasn't that interested in them because of the complexity it feel like (and also Nimis price). So I decided to go Self-cast Eye of winter and now I'm stuck because I don't know how should I work around my build/gear to draw more power. My goal is to be able to more or less go up to 16 Tier map and maybe unlock 1-2 voidstone this league (If the build can push farther, I won`t complain either but that`s as far as I ever got in any league so I might as well try to reach this starting point again before thinking about pushing farther since I haven't played a lot these last years (That 1 char from Phrecia doesn`t count, barely went to map with it).

That said, I also have the problem of being nearly SSF (because Xbox, ya know). And I don't know how I should progress with league mechanic to try and farm the content that I could handle well with my build and would result in an actual progression.

Currently I got one atlas build on Betrayal and Strongbox (was always a fan of getting Divine and Arcanist strongbox). And another atlas set with Essence and Shrine (So yea, nothing that really give worthwile reward, but it`s easy content).

Atm whenever I try to deal with league mechanic in red map I completly get trashed most of the time even tought I could more or less finish the map (with rare/corrupted objective) fairly easily.

Sssssooooo, is there anyone who would take my hand and soft guideline me toward a sense of progression.

(Ah yea, as my current buying power, I have 7 Div and 26 chaos (no ex), few stuff in my trade stash but I'm not even sure about their price.)
