random crashes + mitigation
I've been crashing every few maps, sometimes even twice a map for no reason
your engine is bad, it is not my fault that I am crashing, so why am I losing portals? why are you not mitigating my losses when they result from your bad engine? please mitigate losses, its a simple thing. if the engine detects a crash, no portal loss, that is fair. and the game should already be able to detect when a crash occurs and logs it, no? so it shouldn't be too big of an ask to trigger a non-closure of portal when this detection occurs. its such a simple thing, such a simple solution to a pervasive problem. would save so much annoyance, inconvenience, anger and loss. but nope, you don't do it, why?
