I really don't enjoy being forced to leave loot on the ground.

Doing juiced maps with a lot of quant, 63-84 quant before atlas passive bonuses and waystone modifier, creates situations like Breach where you just have to leave all the loot on the ground because there's so much of it passing through the filter. Moving the splinters to the end of Breach helped tremendously, but this is still a huge issue.

It's not an item filter problem. Even when I'm only allowing T5 unids and rare currency through, mechanics like Breach still demand that I leave them on the ground and come back for them because of the timer that's going to punish me with less loot if I stop during the event.

This isn't just a Breach problem, either. Following a wisp and I keep killing monsters on the edge of the screen, now I have to keep walking away from the wisp to grab the loot then come back to it... ends up being less annoying for me to just leave the loot on the ground, finish the wisp, backtrack through empty map to go pick it all up.

I think stopping the flow of combat/events to have to go pick things up off the floor is a very unfun experience. But the alternative is even worse: continuing combat, killing monsters and enjoying the game like normal, only to then be penalized because you didn't "clean as you go" so now you have to walk back through empty map clicking a bunch of items up off of the ground tediously.

I would wish white and blue items, as well as trash rare items could be just converted to gold drops.

There is too much clutter in this game.
It IS your filter problem. I have mine set up pretty strictly, and I rarely even see items on the ground. Also, the guy above me with an idea to convert drop to gold is... Jesus Christ.

It is NOT a filter problem. If all I let through were divines and kalandra's touch it would still be annoying to have the game pull me in two different directions, one that asks me to complete an activity or event, and a different opposing direction if I want to pick up my loot as I go. The opposing incentives here is the cause of the frustration, not the VOLUME or QUANTITY of the loot. Yes, the problem is worse with more loot passing through, but that doesn't make it GONE when there's less loot passing through. Trust me, I have a very strict filter as well and I know what I'm doing in mapping.

That is right, I have returned.
i wish they could just add in a key to pick up, like using a controller. so that we can just move, attack and loot as we go.
