" The way i understand it.Correct me if wrong. Spoiler inc: It's implied that Eagon is NOT Zanas brother but more like a very close friend/lover. And judging the way how Eagon speaks, his natural affinity with the Atlas and his temperament he's most likely Sirus (or an essence of him) before he got trapped for "decades/centuries" after Elder fight and lost his mind and became the abomination we fought in Oriath. The person (Eagon) we speak right now could be the last pure/uncorrupted remnants of Sirus original mind and Zanas mission is to destroy the Atlas so she can safe the litte remains of her friend. But in the end likely can't be destroyed since one part can't exist without the other part. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
