In addition to being unable to slot their respective Unique Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire, the "Area Penalty" function is not preventing Map suffixes from lowering max resistance for the given element. Even if this is intentional (I doubt it), this is a complete disappointment for the ring. Please fix!

You didn't screenshot your actual resistances (before and after equip).
You just showed the mapmod (why would that change?).

The normal max resistance softcap is 75. I have a body armour equipped and a notable that each increases it by 1. That means my max resistance is 77 outside the map.
My max resistance is 67 (I should have highlighted it, but its in the lower left corner of the screencap) while inside the map WHILE wearing Sekhema's Resolve. That means the map's suffix supercedes the unique's function. I expected to have 77 resistance while inside the map with the ring equipped.
There's the technicality that Maximum Resistance is a different stat from Resistance but if that is truly the design intent for this unique then it is a total letdown.

Going on 2 weeks now, could some clarity be provided on this item's intended behavior?
Is it a bug that Sekhema's Resolve cannot slot its respective Grand Spectrum? The jewels are the correct item type. Their rarity status as Unique is all that seperates them for any other Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire.
Is the "Area Penalties" affix meant to have no effect on Waystone maps that apply -Max Resistance/Elemental Weakness? Right now, all it seems to interact with is the loss from Campaign Acts.
