Vaal Orb working temporarily and then losing it

So, yesterday I corrupted every item in my inventory to roll them. I closed the game came back a few times throughout the day. I logged in today, all the items I corrupted are no longer corrupted. and I know for SURE I did this because i forgot to socket my gloves before i hit them with a vaal orb, and now I put a socket in them. I have now lost my Vaal orbs that I used for my items, and the stats that were rolled which were set. Especially on my rings.


What can I do? Never experienced this.
