The Citadel boss as melee player is the Pinacle of GGG fail.

6 Phases with 1231231 bln life and 100 kinds of slows ,dots, degens, curses and so on and so on..


GGG has absolutely zero clue what they are doing with path of exile 1.

This game is far beyond fun and its going even further with every and each patch..

this league is a "melee" league with snaking and smite being the kind of op. You, yourself use cyclone, which should enable you to dodge the citadel boss easily, so lets just say it: gitgud

THis league i only finished one t17 for the map device slot. Last league i grinded them when i got to lvl 100. For me it was just a matter of accepting that sometimes the boss is doable and sometimes you just have one mod to many on there and you can just move on to the next, shit happens. t17 can be very frustrating and you need to learn to manage your anger and disappointement and remember the mods you do not want there, otherwise stay away from them.

Some builds can just facetank those bosses regardless or do so much damage that they use 1-2 portals on the boss and finish it anyway. You cannot outplay t17 bosses with skill if you do to little damage, that is just how it is, especially when you play with 100% aoe or sth. That mod for example can just be gg, better luck next time...

ALso, most guides recommend all the % to map modifiers on the atlas tree. But if you are not willing to reroll your mods very carefully you will just brick your map that way...
