Equipped ring missing after interacting with merc

I found an infamous merc on a pit of the chimera map, took his headgear for the infamous mod achievement and at some point between starting the fight (where I might have closed or not my inventory, cant recall) my equipped bone ring disappared. This happened like 30 minutes ago.

I realized immediately cause my spectres were missing, and it was because my ring that had gone away had the dex I needed for my armor and gems. At first I thought that I had dropped it in the middle of the fight but it was nowhere close. I backtracked to the last place I remember fighting with my spectres which was pretty close (in a harvest area), but it wasnt there. Turned off all filters and started searching around the area again and couldnt find it at all. It wasnt on my merc either.

Those are all the details I think I can give. I checked integrity of files and relogd to see if it appeared again but no luck.

It wasnt a very valuable ring though it did fix my build lmao, now gotta craft a good one I guess. Im just puzzled at it disappearing.
