i just stopped caring about them after dying about a hundred times id only kill them if i see a divine at this point and there is no point in capturing another merc after i have my lv84 kenetic one so ggs xD pretty bad mechanic and for hardcore they cant ever interact with them so thats dry af.

I stopped clicking on them after I was done with all merc-related challenges. They suck, they're overtuned, they're clearly not playtested at all and worse of all they're unrewarding af and boooooriiing. Why do mercs in t16s have augments and transmutes at max renown??

Lots of raw currency is “nothing”? That’s a wild take. I’ve seen friends pull multiple divs either outright or from the inventory or from crafting bases.
I mean, sure, if you’re dying constantly, word spreads fast among the mercs and they just start sending you the JV squad carrying nothing but transmute orbs. That’s on you, not the game. Lol
Also, this is some of the biggest power creep league we’ve ever had. Free 50% auras, bonus curses, insane utility, and you’re still calling it boring and unrewarding? Maybe the real issue isn’t the game, but the total ZHP build you’re running that folds to a sneeze.

I literally had max renown non-stop lmao
They're just bad. Yeah I've also gotten a scarab of containment from an Infamous mercenary. Once. And never again did I get any good loot, even at max renown during all my mapping. People just get lucky and use that scarce data to go out and say "guys its rewarding" when it is not.

If anything it's the total opposite, mercs have been rewarding as fuck so far in many different ways. But you wouldn't know since you mentioned that you hard skip them anyways. Case of skill issue I guess

Yeah no, getting a Mageblood or Mirror from a mercenary is "lucky", but getting the average consistent pity price of Divine Orbs, solid Scarabs, or items with desirable merc mods? That’s not luck, that’s just players actually engaging with the league mechanic.
Your take of "they’re just bad" doesn’t really reflect the reality, though. It’s just the usual excuse from people who are frustrated because they keep getting farmed by Pixel, or who hard-skip the mechanic after buying their challenges, without actually giving it a chance to see how rewarding it really is. They just take a tiny sample size, one bad map outcome, and immediately go "IT'S BAD"...

No I quite literally clicked all mercs in campaign and in the 300-something maps I did while playing the whole league. You just refuse to accept that this league is unrewarding lmfao
I even got a tabula from a merc in act 6, but I still think this mechanic is boring and needs to be buffed in terms of rewards. If I only get 1c or trashy currency then its not even worth my time to click on them or read all the items. Would also be nice to highlight items using your filter on their gear, I got tired of reading every single rare they had real quick lol
This league is just bad, that's a simple fact. Bad and boring.

I've played this league from the start. I've only seen 3 divs and they were from mercs. Each on of them 1 shot me even when I was playing safe with totem build while hiding behind a wall.

Normal adults just quit a game they don't like and move on instead of writing cringe sob stories about it in front of a bunch of random adults who like the game.
